PROJECT AT A GLANCE 項目巡禮 Following The Art Of Craft And Applying A New Renovation Technology 遵循工匠技巧 應用創新復修技術 This is the first large-scale outdoor bronze statue renovation project in Hong Kong. The project team adopts the approach of abrasive blasting, supplemented by burnishing, in order to preserve the original surface texture and lines of the Buddha. An environmentally friendly abrasive blasting material, “Brown Corundum”, is used to effectively remove the verdigris without damaging the surface.
